How to Spot a Celebrity: Shalani

People Asia magazine’s annual Women of Style and Substance issue featured Shalani on the cover. They hosted an event for this last September.
There were other awardees for the event who were also featured in the magazine, but everyone came because they wanted to see the President’s girlfriend!
I did the hair and makeup of the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Joanne Rae Ramirez for the event then proceeded to Shangri-la Plaza Mall to see Shalani.
Shalani was just as pretty in person. She looked rather simple and soft-spoken. Too bad I didn’t get to have a photo taken with her. I asked an insider whether the break-up is true. The official statement is “they’re on cool-off”. Don’t quote me! 🙂
